The convertible bodystyle on the Oldsmobile Ninety-Eight was the rarest and the most expensive bodystyle in the Ninety-Eight Series lineup. The upholstery for this model was a combination of leather and Moroceen. They came standard with power side windows and a two-way power seat adjuster.
This particular convertible was built specifically for its original owner, Peggy Wortz, who is the grand-daughter of Ransom Olds. Changes made for this vehicle only were the use of a split-bench front seat and an AM only radio. Peggy later donated this vehicle to the R.E.
