The year 1927 brought the debut of Studebaker's prestigious President model. This Limousine is the only restored example known to exist and features rear jump seats and a divider window behind the front seat. The 'President' name was initially applied only to sedans and limousines but later encompassed a full range of body styles.
The 1927 model year was the only time Presidents were powered by 6-cylinder engines. From 1928 on, 8-cylinder engines were standard.
