This vehicle began life as a Bahia Red 1970 911 Model 'S'. Peter Gregg took this used car off the lot of Brumos of Jacksonville, FL, and had Jack Atkinson convert it into a race car for the son of the president of his primary sponsor Garrard Record Players. For the 1973 Daytona 24, this car received the iconic Brumos red, white and blue livery and the number '58' on the hood. Peter Gregg won that race in the sister car, the number '59' Porsche 2.7 RS.
