1931 Stutz Model SV-16 Navigation
It is believed that this Stutz SV16 Series MA is one of less than five Cabriolets that still exist. The SV-16 had been developed by Charles Greuter, a Swiss native who had been with Stutz for a number of years. It features the Bijur lubrication system, nine main bearings, an overhead cam unit, and dual spark plugs for each cylinder. The 322 cubic-inch overhead cam inline 8-cylinder engine was officially rated at 113 horsepower by the factory, however many believed that the number was dialed down a bit so as to make the Stutz star engine, the DV32, appear to have a much higher power advantage. Nonetheless, the engine was capable of carrying these vehicles up to 90 miles an hour. Hydraulic brakes were standard equipment.

The SV16 shared the same basic chassis and bodywork as did the more powerful models.

This particular Cabriolet Convertible was given a fairly in-depth restoration several decades ago. It is finished in Dove Gray with red headlights as well as wire wheels. Seats and door panels are finished in a matching gray leather material, while the folding top is done in black. It has a 137.5-inch wheelbase, which allows for plenty of room for passengers up front and a few occupants in the rumble seat.

This car also has dual side-mount spare tires, full instrumentation and is recognized as a 'Full Classic.'
