1979 Toyota HJ45 Land Cruiser SUV

Toyota ended production of the Series 45 Land Cruiser pickup in 1984. This particular vehicle is a hand-crafted, one-of-a-kind, Series 45 Land Cruiser 4-door crew cab. It began life as a single cab pickup truck from a Costa Rican coffee plantation. It was given a nut-and-bolt, frame-off restoration and re-emerged with a crew cab cabin. The result was a full modernized Vintage Cruiser crew cab with all the modern amenities of a late model Toyota Land Cruiser, but with the appearance of a Series 45 vintage Land Cruiser pickup truck.

This vehicle has a custom made safari-bed jump seats, a front bumper brush guard with dual Luminix high-powered LEDs and a WARN Zeon winch with in-dash remote activation, and Mickey Thomson Baja off-road tires mounted on 16' ProComp alloy wheels with front manual locking hubs. Power is from a Toyota 14B diesel engine offering nearly 100 horsepower. There is a custom Old Man Emu suspension, hydraulic front disc brakes, front and rear ARB differential Air Lockers with twin ARB compressors and dual air hose couplings. There is a Vintage Air A/C system, a built-in Kenwood touch screen stereo system with GPS, satellite radio capability, Apple CarPlay, and Bluetooth connectivity.
