1990 Toyota SR5 Pickup Pickup

The 3rd generation Toyota Pickup was given a significant upgrade and restyling. Toyota pickups were given a restyling for 1989, with rear anti-lock brakes, leaf springs extended by 3 inches, and shift-on-the-fly part-time 4-wheel drive system. The SR5 (Sport Rally 5-Speed) now came standard with the new ABS system, and was optional on SR5 4-cylinder pickups.

In 1990, the standard powerplant included both the fuel-injected and carbureted 2.4-liter 4-cylinder engine. An optional 3-liter V6 offering 150 horsepower was also available.

The 3.0-liter engine was standard on the SR5 V6 models and optional on Xtracab Deluxe pickups. Transmission options included a 4- and 5-speed manual, and a 4-speed overdrive automatic.

Named by Truck Trend magazine as one of the 'dozen trucks every guy needs to own', the Toyota 4X4 pick-up earned a reputation for its bullet-proof reliability, low operating cost, and ruggedness. In 1985, its celebrity status was cemented by the Hollywood movie 'Back to the Future.'

This 1990 Toyota Pickup is an original truck with just 17,000 miles on its odometer. It has 4WD, a 2958cc SOHC V6 engine, 5-speed manual transmission, a metallic red exterior with a red interior.
