1965 Jaguar XKE E-Type Navigation
The Jaguar E-Type, which had been introduced in March of 1961 at the Geneva Motor Show, was continually developed over the years. In 1965, the gearbox was given full synchros and the seat backs were made adjustable. The engine was enlarged to 4.2 liters and a new brake booster was also adopted. Not long after, the safety and emissions regulations began having their way with the E-Type, resulting in the alteration of both its appearance and its performance.
The Series 1 cars were built from 1961 into 1967.
This Series 1 Roadster is finished in British Racing Green with a biscuit interior and rides on chrome wire wheels. It has the correct chassis number stamping on the frame, and the stampings on both the block and head both match.
