1989 Tatra 613 Navigation
The Czechoslovak manufacturer Tatra built the 613 model from 1974 through 1996. They were a large luxury vehicle that had a rear mounted air-cooled engine that powered the rear wheels. The body was styled by Vignale of Italy and were commonly used by government officials, police cars, and industry executives.
A dual overhead cam air-cooled 3.5-liter V8 engine provided the power, offering 165 horsepower, and backed by a 4-speed all-synchromesh manual floor-mounted gearbox. Later, fuel injection was added which helped boost horsepower to 200 bhp.
In 1996, the Tatra 613 was replaced by the 700 model.
