1999 Rolls-Royce Silver Seraph Saloon

The Rolls-Royce Silver Seraph was produced from 1998 to 2002, and was the final 4-door Rolls-Royce model to be hand built at the Crewe, England facility. It served as a replacement for the Silver Spur which had been in production for nearly two decades. The Silver Seraph was the first Rolls-Royce to have a 12-cylinder engine since the 1939 Phantom III. It was thoroughly modern vehicle outfitted with the latest digital engine management, all-new electronics, cruise control, and anti-lock brakes as standard. The interior was trimmed in Connolly leather and glossy wood veneer passenger rear tray-tables. In traditional fashion, it was supremely quiet and ultimately refined.

The Silver Seraph made its debut in 1998, along with its badge digital engine management, all-new electronics, cruise control, and anti-lock brakes as standard. It remained in production for just four years as the Rolls-Royce brand would eventually fall under the control of BMW and Bentley under Volkswagen.

With a base price of over $220,000 and its short production lifespan, just 1,570 Silver Seraphs were built.

This particular example was delivered new to Atlanta, Georgia in August of 1998. It was finished in Black with two-tone Black and oyster hides complimented with burl oak veneer. While in the care of its first owner, the car was driven 26,000 miles. In 2008, it entered the care of its second owner and was sent to Florida. Recently, it entered new ownership and was brought up to New York. Currently it has just under 31,000 miles.
