1980 Rolls-Royce Corniche Coupe

Rolls-Royce's in-house coachbuilder, Mulliner, Park Ward, was given the honor of hand-building the company's final coach-built model. They were built in the traditional British coachbuilding fashion, using only the finest materials, including Wilton carpeting, Connolly hides, and burr walnut veneers, a necessarily lengthy process that took all of 20 weeks for the saloon and slightly longer for the more complex convertible. This attention to detail and painstaking process resulted in a price that was about 50% higher than the standard Silver Shadows.

This particular example is a one-owner US-specification example that was delivered to Roy Carver Rolls Royce in Newport Beach, California. The original owner and consignor took possession on January 2, 1982.

This low-mileage Coupe is finished in black over silver, with a black leather interior that was refurbished around 2012. It is fitted with a number of luxury appointments including self-leveling rear air suspension, air conditioning, power windows, and a Blaupunkt stereo system. It is supplied with a tool kit and its correct jack and spare wheel.
