2003 Alpina V8 Roadster

For the 1999 James Bond film, The World Is Not Enough, the British MI6 agent drove a BMW Z8. It carried 007 through most of the movie until its demise came at the teeth of a saw blade where it was cut in half.

BMW built just 555 Z8 models for the world market. The represented the very pinnacle of BMW performance and rode on a compact 98.6-inch wheelbase platform. Adding to their exclusivity was their $128,000 base price.

This particular example has just 3,998 miles on its odometer. It is powered by a 4.8-liter V8 DOHC engine offering 375 horsepower. It has a BMW Steptronic automatic transmission and four-wheel hydraulic disc brakes.

This car was purchased new as a birthday present for a physician from his wife. It has always been garaged and driven only sparingly in good weather. All its factory accessories are still with the car including the hard top complete with rolling storage rack, car cover, tool kit, spare tire jack, first aid kit, head rest windscreen, convertible top boot cover, and leather key pouch. It even retains its factory Motorola cell phone.
