1957 Chevrolet Corvette C1 Convertible

Corvette styling for 1957 was unchanged from the previous year, but the big news was the optional fuel-injection. This allowed the Corvette to boast one horsepower for every cubic inch, making it one of the fastest cars on the road with a top speed of 132 mph. Other standard features for 1957 were a dual exhaust, outside rearview mirror, tachometer, and clock.

This example has been given a full restoration that began in 2014 and has since driven just 68 miles since its completion. It is a numbers-matching example with the fuel injection system and is finished in Onyx Black with Inca Silver Covers. It is one of just 43 with a rare power top finished in black. It has a four-speed transmission and rides on wide whitewall tires with correct Corvette stainless steel hubcaps. The interior is finished in brilliant red with faithfully recreated upholstery and fine stitching. There is a large speedometer, optional power windows, and the optional Wonderbar radio.
