2006 Ford GT Navigation
The Ford GT was built to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Ford Motor Company. The design is a modern homage of the immensely successful GT40 that achieved four consecutive Le Mans victories from 1966 to 1969.
The Ford GT had a top speed of 205 and a 0-60mph time of 3.3 seconds. Power was from Ford's all-aluminum 5.4-liter modular V-8. The 32-valve cylinder heads from the Mustang SVT Cobra R were modified with a thicker wall casting in the exhaust port, and a new camshaft provided increased lift and duration. The engine was given a Lysholm twin-screw supercharger feeding a maximum 11.7 psi of boost. Braking was accomplished through four piston aluminum Brembo calipers with cross-drilled and ventilated rotors on all four wheels.
This particular example has just 60 actual miles on the odometer. It is the 1,664th of the 2,011 GTs built. It is the 145th of 190 examples finished in Midnight Blue Clearcoat.
