1989 Porsche 911 Speedster

Porsche 1989 Speedster was both a fair-weather tourer and a weekend track car. It was a performance-oriented model that had a sharply angled, cut-down windshield and the rear of the cockpit covered by a fiberglass tonneau cover. Power was from the H-program's 3.2-liter air-cooled flat six offering 217 horsepower. Power was fed through a five-speed Getrag G50 transaxle, and there were power-assisted, ventilated, and cross-drilled disc brakes with alloy calipers at all four corners.

This particular example was delivered new in Silver with a black interior, and optioned with locking 40 percent rear differential, a short-throw shifter for the G50 transmission, intensified windshield washer, headlamp washer, sport seats with electrical height adjustment, and factory air conditioning.

This is an original Canadian-market example that currently has just 7,724 kilometers on its odometer. It was services by Auto Strasse of Montreal in 1993, 1995, and 1998 for Roger LeBlanc of Montreal. The succeeding owner, G. Tek of York, Ontario, serviced the car in 2000 with 7,712 kilometers.

This car has the correct original tool kit, jack, and its original rear-mounted space-saver spare.
