1907 Wolfe Four Navigation
The H.E. Wilcox Motor Car Company produced the Wolfe automobiles in Minnesota from 1907 through 1909. They were the idea of Maurice Wolfe who worked as a salesman during the early 1900s in Minneapolis. He is credited by the press as being the first individual to sell an automobile to a 'wild Indian.' In 1906, he joined the Wilcox brothers to form the H.E. Wilcox Motor Car Company.

The Wolfe automobiles were built on a 108-inch wheelbase platform and were powered by a four-cylinder, water-cooled, Continental L-head engine fitted with a single updraft carburetor. They had a three-speed selective sliding gear transmission with Dual chain drive.

The company produced approximately 30 Wolfe cars in 1907 and approximately 200 cars by April of 1909 when the marque name was changed to Wilcox.

This particular five-passenger Touring car has been given a high-quality restoration, which was completed in 2010. It was driven sparingly for the next few years before it was placed into dry storage. It recently came out of storage and has been returned to running condition.

The Wolfe has a brass radiator shell, red paint, and a 24-horsepower engine.
