1937 Cadillac Series 75 Convertible Sedan

1937 Cadillac Series 75 Navigation
Cadillac built fifty examples of the five-passenger convertible sedan on the 138-inch wheelbase chassis, Series 75. It is believed that this example was produced for display at the 1936 New York Auto Show, finished in Admiral Blue with Antique Blue leather upholstery. The car was sold off the show floor to a wealthy lady, who had homes in both Manhattan and California. The Cadillac was left in New York and maintained by her chauffeur and used during her visits.

In 1954, the lady sold the Cadillac to an enthusiast in Chicago, in whose ownership it remained until 1999. Its new owner, Jim LoCicero, restored the car. After the work was completed, it won awards all over the United States, including a Cadillac-LaSalle Club First Place in 2003. More recently, it scored 98 points at the CCCA Ohio Region Grand Classic in June 2016.
