1965 Datsun 1500 SPL310 Navigation
Known as the 1500 Roadster in the United States market - something just under half of the near 7,000 made were shipped to the United States in 1963 - the car was not very sophisticated. It came with a 4-cylinder, overhead valve, 1488cc engine with about 71 horsepower, 4-speeds, drum brakes and live rear axle in the British style - but it was tough.
This Fairlady SPL310 Roadster - L for left-hand drive for the United States and Europe for the UK and Japan drive on the left -has competed in SCCA road racing events from new in both regional and national events and is now a two-time Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion entrant in 2017 and 2018.
