This Type 587 matching numbers 356C was at the top of Porsche's production model lineup in 1964. Porsche only built 25 Reutter bodied cabriolets with the Carrera engine in 1964. It is displayed with a rare original option: a Reutter built removable hardtop with an electric sunroof instead of the cabriolet soft top. The car is powered by a 2.0 liter four-cylinder four camshaft Carrera engine which produces 135 horsepower with dual Solex 40PII-4 downdraft carburetors fed by a single electric fuel pump. It was purchased over 40 years ago by its current owner and restored in 1979. The car has 49,796 original miles and is only driven sparingly on perfect weather days.
