1926 Bugatti Type 39A Navigation
Entered for the French Grand Prix at Miramas on June 27, 1926, it was driven by Pierre de Vizcaya and raced as #16, but did not finish. A month later, at the Grand Prix of Europe at San Sebastian, it finished fifth, driven by Fernando Minoia wearing #19. It was then bought by Briggs in Paris in 1955. It has factory-installed fenders a generator on the scuttle and an oil transfer pump on the gearbox lid. It made a brief non-running appearance at the 1995 Grafton, Vermont International Rally where many 1950s modifications were still in evidence.
