Ed 'Big Daddy' Roth began designing his unique vehicles in the 1960s. Those creations include 'Beatnik Bandit' 'Rat Fink', 'Outlaw' and others. 'Beatnik Bandit II' features a one-of-a-kind fiberglass body with PPG Lemon Meringue Pie paint, stylized Rat Fink designs on the sides and chrome by Metal Master of Salt Lake City, Utah. It includes many unique design features including an electronic console that operates the digital instrument panel and other features such as a digital readout of the car's latitude and longitude. The lack of a rearview mirror is not a problem for this car. A 'TV Mirror' video monitor is mounted on the console, and the camera is mounted on the rear panel. The bubble top is also lifted electronically.
