1991 Rolls-Royce Silver Spur Saloon

The Silver Spur II and the Silver Spirit II were the result of refinements and modifications to the original models, introduced at the 1989 Frankfurt Motor Show. Most of the changes in 1990 were to the suspension system, with 'Automatic Ride Control' introduced. This was a fully automatic system that adjusted dampers in real time at all four wheels. Other modifications included the addition of ABS and a Fuel Injection system. The fuel tank increased up to 24 Imperial gallons to get over 310 miles per tank. The changes to the exterior and interior were minor, with a considerably smaller steering wheel and two additional ventilation outlets added to the fascia.

Between 1990 and 1993, Rolls-Royce built 1,658 examples of the Silver Spur II. This example had an original MSRP of $178,700. It has 35,000 miles on its odometer, privacy curtains, air conditioning, optional air bag steering wheel, and optional wood package on the doors.

In 2018 the car was offered for sale at the Hollywood Wheels 'Amelia Island Select' auction where it had a pre-auction estimated value of $30,000 – $50,000.
