2012 McLaren MP4-12C Coupe

After the introduction of the MP4-12C, McLaren Special Operations introduced a limited special version of the car that was built in the spirit of the 12C GT3 racer. This unique version was known as the 'High Sport' and brought with it several improvements including redesigned front and rear bumpers with side air extractors and louvers on top of the front fenders to increase downforce. This modification reduced drag while improving braking and improved tire cooling. The engine was modified helping the High Sport achieved a zero-to-sixty mph time in under 3 seconds and a top speed north of 200 mph.

This McLaren MP4-12C HS was ordered by McLaren CEO Ron Dennis. This example is High Sport chassis number 9 of the 10 manufactured and is the only one painted in F1 Vodafone Racing Team livery colors. It also has the signatures under the hood from the winningest time set by the McLaren team drivers and pit crew. The signatures represent the victory and celebration that occurred at Nuremberg, Germany.

The options included on this car are the Stealth Package, Sport Exhaust, Carbon Ceramic brakes and a carbon fiber engine package. There is a Meridian sound system with navigation, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, Carbon fiber, Alcantara & Leather in the designated F1 team colors. There is special tagged designer travel luggage and Diamond cut Racing Wheels.
