This Alfa Romeo 1900 coupe was given by the Alfa Romeo factory to Juan Manuel Fangio as a reward for winning the Formula One World Driving Championship for the 1951 season. The current owner had the good fortune to obtain the original build sheet with Fangio's name on it. The car has a two-liter, four-cylinder twin-overhead cam engine. The coachwork is by Carrozzeria Touring in Milan. It is interesting to note that this is one of the first models to have left-hand steering after World War II.
