1948 OSCA MT4 Navigation
This is the first-ever OSCA MT4 built by the Maserati brothers. It had a simple aluminum body with removable fenders, allowing the car to participate in either sports car races or the Formula 2 events of the era. The Maserati brothers were perfectionists, and all OSCAs were handbuilt to exceedingly high standards, setting them apart from almost all other race cars, including Ferrari.

This MT4 Siluro was completed in April of 1948, and in August of that year, it debuted at the 12 Hours of Europe by a variety of owners until 1961. In the early 1980s, the car was acquired by Herbi Allemann of Gersau, Switzerland, and underwent a multiyear restoration, including the installation of its original engine.
