The GTV 6 was born by combining the Alfetta GT and the engine of the Alfa 6, albeit with Bosch L-Jetronic fuel injection. The 2492cc V-6 was rated at 154 horsepower with a top speed of 118 mph. Introduced in 1980, the result was a prestigious car for Alfa; the racing version of which brought the marque numerous successes including four consecutive European Touring car Championships from 1982 - 1985.
This example remains in original, unrestored condition as it was delivered new. When production ended in 1983, 11,468 cars were produced including 2,389 imported into the United States.
