1957 Alfa Romeo 1900 CSS Navigation
'The Family car that wins races' was the sales slogan used by Alfa Romeo for their first post-WW2 design which debuted in 1950. A unibody platform was adopted so that 'outside' coachbuilders could work with it, however this particular example has in-house Portello factory coachwork. Under the hood is the 1975cc DOHC 4-cylinder 90 horsepower engine with a 4-speed gearbox. It has never been restored and was first delivered in Bergamo, Italy. It was previously sold through Gino Munaron to Martin Swig, to David E. Davis then to John Clark, to Santo Spadaro, and finally purchased by the current owners in 2017.
