    1985 BMW M5 E28 Navigation
At launch, at the Amsterdam Auto Show in February 1985, the hand-built E28 M5 was the fastest production sedan in the world. Most notably, perhaps, was its engine, the M88/3 282 horsepower 6-cylinder that was derived from that used in the M1. The U.S. spec cars were equipped with a more emissions friendly engine labeled the S38B35 with 252 horsepower.

This particular example is one of only 588 Euro versions built. E28 M5s are one of the rarest BMW Motorsports model of them all with a total production of 2241 units. This car has the rear Technic package installed.
