1999 Ferrari F355 Serie Fiorano Convertible

The Ferrari F355 was powered by a 3.5-liter V8 engine equipped with four overhead camshafts and five valves per cylinder, which had been borrowed from Ferrari's Formula 1 engine. Just 100 examples of the Serie Fiorano Design by Pininfarina were built. As the name implied, the modifications increased F355's performance with much of the attention being spent on the suspension and handling components. They were given Competizione derived stiffer springs, roll bars, and a wider track width. They had a faster steering rack and more capable drilled and ventilated brakes. The interior was also upgraded with a suede covered steering wheel and carbon fiber trim pieces. The 3,496cc dual overhead cam 40-valve engine had Bosch Motronic Fuel injection and 375 horsepower.

This particular example left the Ferrari factory in June of 1999, wearing Nero Daytona paint over Cuoio Naturale interior. It was sent to its original owner in Florida who kept it for fourteen years and added 12,000 miles to its odometer. Currently the odometer shows 13,000 miles. The car has four-wheel disc brakes and a 6-speed 'F1' Electrohydraulic Transaxle.
