2008 Ferrari F430 Coupe

Michael Schumacher unveiled the Ferrari 430 Scuderia at the 2007 Frankfurt Auto Show. It was a track focused version of the mid-engine V8 model that was fine-tuned from bumper to bumper by the engineers in Modena. Weight was reduced and performance and speed were enhanced. 221 pounds were shed and an additional 20 horsepower helped the Scuderia to match the Enzo around the Fiorano test track.

This particular example is finished in Rosso Scuderia paint with an optional racing stripe. It is a United States specification example that was originally delivered new to Foreign Cars Italia, a dealership in Greensboro, North Carolina. It had a trolley, soft bag, suitcase, door sills in carbon fiber, red brake calipers, a fire extinguisher, Alcantara upholstery, a Ferrari iPod, and special stitching. The total MSRP for the vehicle was just under $300,000.

The original owner was a resident of North Carolina who kept the car for just a year before it was sold to an individual farther west, in Tennessee. That individual kept it for just a few months before selling it to its current taker. The Ferrari was used sparingly and covered just 800 miles over the past seven years, bringing its total mileage to 3,000.

This car is one of 92 U.S. delivered Scuderia models and is equipped with over $25,000 worth of options. The 4,308cc dual overhead cam 32-valve V8 engine features direct fuel injection and produces over 500 horsepower. There is a 6-speed F1 Electrohydraulic Transaxle and four-wheel ceramic disc brakes.
