1989 Nissan S Cargo Delivery Truck

Nissan introduced the S-Cargo at the Tokyo Motor Show in 1988 and 8,000 would ultimately be produced. They were originally marketed solely in Japan at their Nissan Cherry stores without Nissan branding and available by reservation only. The exterior styling was inspired by the Citroen 2CV Fourgonnette delivery van which later led to them being featured on a top 50 ugliest cars list. These cars were also known as the Nissan Pike cars due to their origin at the Pike factory.

This particular example is a right-hand drive that is red with a gray interior. Power is from a 1.5 liter four-cylinder SOHC engine offering 72 horsepower and 86 ft-lbs of torque. There is a 3-speed automatic transmission, air conditioning, and a Citroen-style single-spoke steering wheel.
