2015 BMW M5 30 Jahre Sedan

BMW celebrated its 30th anniversary of the M5 sports sedan with a special edition model in keeping with the company's commitment to refined performance. 300 examples were built and 29 were sent to the United States. The buyers were selected through a social media lottery. Purchasers were invited to a private BMW driving school to explore and learn the capabilities of th7is special edition car.

The BMW M5 30 Jahre M5 offered 32 additional horsepower than the standard BMW m5, and 17 HP over a similarly equipped Competition Package M5. Other refinements included the M-Dynamic mode and M-specific Servotronic feature. Zero-to-sixty mph was accomplished in 3.7 seconds. Exterior colors included Frozen Dark Silver Metallic and were visually distinguished by '30 Jahre M5' exterior badging and sill plates. They rode on 20-inch alloy wheels, and were fitted with black chrome tailpipes, side vents, and kidney grille.

Power was from a 4,941cc S62 dual overhead cam 32-valve V-8 engine fitted with a Bosch Motronic Sequential Fuel Injection and M TwinPower Turbochargers. The engine offered 600 HP and was mated to a 7-speed Dual-Clutch Automatic transmission. Ventilated Carbon Ceramic Disc Brakes with ABS were located at all four corners.

This particular example has 1,815 miles on its odometer.
