This Volkswagen 'Samba' Deluxe Microbus was built on October 12th of 1965 in Wolfsburg, Germany. It is a 21 window example with a large sliding sunroof. Other factory options include six pop-out side windows, seat belts, a U.S. mph speedometer, and bumper guards. The current caretaker has added tilt-open Safari windshields, luggage rack, and an original-looking, retro radio that can be hooked up to a cell phone. It has a period-correct, fully rebuilt 1600 engine mated to a Freeway Flyer transmission. It has been given a year-long professional rotisserie restoration and finished in the original color scheme of Lotus White.
