This car was originally owned by Theodore Yip Racing of Hong Kong and debuted in August 1976 at Road America driven by Derek Bell. For the remainder of the 1976 season the car was driven by Allan Jones at Riverside and Surfers Paradise, Australia. The car was subsequently owned by several individuals over the years and generally not raced. The car was purchased by Marc Rauchfuss around 2010 and restored for vintage racing. The current owner acquired the car in 2016 and currently races at various vintage events in Australia.
