Five decades after Porsche unveiled its 911 sports car, on June 2013 the manufactured announced a special version celebrating the 50th Anniversary. This 991.1 edition was the last to feature naturally aspirated engines. The American market received approximately 600 examples of the 50th Anniversary Edition, and all US-spec versions were fitted with the Powerkit, with ported cylinder heads and a modified ECU, intake, and camshaft. This brought horsepower to 430 hp and gave the car a top speed of 186 mph.
This particular example was finished at the Porsche Exclusive facility in Stuttgart in 2013 and was no. 704 of 1,963 produced. It has unique horizontal rear fascia, wide-body fenders, and a two-tone rear badge reading '911 50.' It was given a rare black interior and early every factory option available, including heated seats, fire extinguisher, front and rear ParkAssist sensors, and all-aluminum gas cap, accelerator pedal, and footrest.By Daniel Vaughan | Apr 2019
