1997 Porsche 993 Turbo S Navigation
When new, this Porsche 993 Turbo S was sent to Carlsen Porsche of Palo Alto, California. It had left the factory finished in Ocean Blue Metallic with a Classic Grey leather interior. It had floor mats and an infrared security system. It was acquired by Leo Hindery Jr. who remains as this cars only owner. In 1998, with assistance from Andial in Santa Ana, California, the car was given GT2-specification KKK turbochargers, boost enhancer, and sport exhaust. Power was increased even further in 2001 by the installation of an APE Stage II performance kit with Stage III software, and a modified flywheel and clutch assembly to handle an estimated 540 hp.
