2000 BMW Z3 Roadster

BMW introduced the Z3 in 1996. It was stylish and unique, but its 1.9-liter four-cylinder engine left it out of the sports car category. Things changed when the first M-Power Z3 appeared in January of 1988. The 'M-Power' began in the early 1980s with the limited edition 'homologation special' M3. This was the start of the BMW Motorsport GmbH building their own distinctive 'M-Power' brand of performance-enhanced luxury vehicles.

With the introduction of the M-Power Z3, it was the fastest-accelerating BMW ever. They were well equipped with electric windows, PAS, air conditioning, heated seats, ABS, driver/passenger air bags, six-speaker stereo system, alarm/immobilizer, heated exterior mirrors, 17-inch alloy wheels, and a limited-slip differential as standard.

This particular example was built for the United States market. Its original owner is believed that have been from Arizona. It is currently a 3-owner car finished in Imola Red and has less than 16,100 miles on its odometer. The 3,200cc dual overhead camshaft S52 6-cylinder engine has Electronic fuel injection and produces 240 horsepower. There is a five-speed manual transmission and four-wheel ventilated disc brakes.
