1899 Knox Model A Navigation
This circa-1899 Knox was part of the collection of Wayne McKinley of O'Fallon, Illinois. Around the early 1970s, it came into the care of Don C. Boulton. It is believed to have been given a restoration in the 1950s in its red bodywork with cream trim, red striping, and cream chassis and suspension. It appears that only parts were restored as needed, and many others remain original, including the leather seat back and the step plates cast with KNOX.
The body has carved 'wicker' panels and delicate spindles. There is an accessory surrey top supported by irons, and a single Dietz 'cyclops' headlamp with Gray and Davis cowl lamps.
