This Jaguar Mk IX was completed at the Browns Lane Jaguar Works in 1959. It was given the optional automatic transmission, the 3,781cc DOHC inline 6-cylinder engine with 2 SU carburetors, 4-wheel Servo-Assisted disc brakes, and an Independent front suspension. After completion, it was soon sent to the North American market and resided in the California climate for several decades.
