1973 March 73A Navigation
The car was originally owned and raced by Gus Hutchison. Hutchison won the Formula B Championship in 1967 and later moved to Formula A/5000. Built with an experimental motor with side fuel induction, the car competed in 9 races in 1973. Following the oil embargo of 1973 and with insufficient sponsorship, the car was retired and the motor was not further developed. After 40 years in storage, the car was purchased by Eric Haga and restored to its original livery and technical specifications by Chris Schneider of Executive Auto Sport. The engine was rebuilt by Savannah Engineering. Car returned to racing in the Formula 5000 Revival series in 2016.
