1937 Chevrolet Master Deluxe Series GA Navigation
The design for the 1937s was all new for the A37 under the direction of Harley Earl at General Motors Art & Colour Department. Earl believed that to be a successful stylist, one must always keep pace with progress. His ideas must not run ahead of, or lag behind the amount of change that the public will accept when his designs go to the marketplace.
This prime example of one of Harley Earls's most iconic designs rides on a longer wheelbase than its predecessor. It features a sporty streamlined body. The Master DeLuxe Coupe sold for $685 and weighs 2,840 pounds. Chevrolet pushed the safety of 'perfected' hydraulic brakes and the knee action suspension.
This car is in the owner's family transportation collection that was started in 1947 by his parent.
