1958 Buick Caballero Navigation
Advertised as 'The Air Born B-58 Buick,' the 1958 models were adorned with more chrome and stainless-steel trim than any other production car, ever! From the 160 chrome squares in the grille to the simulated jet exhaust outlets in the rear bumper, the Jet Age influence is seen throughout.
This prime example represents Buick's top of the line model. In addition to the stylish 4-door hardtop body style, it was powered by the 364 cubic-inch 'Fireball' V8 engine and has a well-appointed luxurious interior. In its second and final year of production, just 4,456 units were built.
An online forum titled 'Suggestions? A free 1958 Buick Caballero' is how the current owners found this car. A definite desert rat, it was last registered in New Mexico in 1972. After acquiring it, 4-years and countless dollars were spent returning it to its as delivered glory.
