1965 Ford Mustang Navigation
When Ford introduced the Mustang on April 17th of 1964 at the New York World's Fair, they not only took the world by storm, but also created an entirely new market segment, affectionately dubbed Pony Cars. With a stylish short deck and long hood inspired by sporty European cars, the Mustang was a runaway success, surpassing even the expectations of the Ford executives.
This example of an early Mustang GT was purchased new by the current owners' family. It retains the original paint, vinyl roof and interior. Options include the highly desirable GT equipment group, the Pony interior decor group, the Rally pack, the center console, styled steel wheels and the high-performance solid lifter 289 cubic-inch V8 engine backed by the automatic transmission.
