1921 Bentley 3 Litre Navigation
This is the 19th Bentley 3 Litre built. The finished chassis (number 19, with engine 20) was delivered to a little-known coachbuilder, J. Gairn & Company of Edinburgh, Scotland, who created this touring body for its first owner, also from Edinburgh, in December 1921. It is the only Bentley known to have been bodied by Gairn and is quite possibly the only complete car body built by that firm, which was more of a specialist repair shop than a full-blown coachworks. This unique 3 Litre spent many years in Scotland before it was sold to an English Bentley enthusiast in the 1950s. It later moved to Sweden and eventually to the Wakui Museum in Japan. It retains its original body and has been restored to its original color with polished aluminum hood.
