1918 Packard Twin Six Deluxe Town Cabriolet

The Packard Twin Six was produced from 1915 to 1923. In the summer of 1917, Packard announced the third and final series of the Twin Six, boasting an array of mechanical upgrades. That year, custom bodies began to appear for the first time: a limousine, a brougham, a landaulet built by Derham, and a runabout and cabriolet by Fleetwood.

This Packard Twin Six Deluxe Town Cabriolet was purchased new by the legendary racing driver Phil Hill's aunt Helen, who obviously had unusually good taste in automobiles - much like her nephew and great-nephew would prove to have later in life. Phil Hill knew this Packard throughout his childhood, and after his aunt passed, the car came into his care. He carefully maintained it in its original condition throughout his life.
