1936 Dodge Series D-2 Convertible Sedan

This five-passenger convertible sedan was called the 'Beauty Winner,' and was the most expensive model for Dodge in 1936, at $995. It features a six-cylinder engine, three-speed transmission and hydraulic brakes. It has the Convenience Group, which includes a banjo steering wheel, hand-brake extension and shatter-proof glass. It most recently won the Palmetto Award at the 2018 Hilton Head Island Concours d'Elegance, and was displayed at the Pinehurst, St. Michaels and Easter United States Concours d'Elegance. It holds an AACA Senior and Preservation Award. This car was also displayed at the AACA Museum to celebrate 100 years of Dodge. Only 750 examples of this model were built.
