The Jaguar E-Type has been considered Britain's finest sports car, considering the style and performance. There have been a number of modifications to the Jaguar E-Type since it first rolled out of the factory in 1961 but many claim the Series 1 with the 4.2-liter engine is the more desirable.
This particular E-Type was found by the owner in a deteriorated condition. The restoration of this E-Type began as a project to get it back on the road and drive it. The complexity of the project soon evolved into fully restoring the car accurately, with no exceptions. The car has received awards from the Jaguar Clubs of North America Concours and the St. Michaels Concours d'Elegance. It remains with the original exterior color of opalescent dark blue with a red leather interior.
