In 1960, the Lincoln Continental division of Ford Motor Company sent 134 Mark V coupes (all Presidential Black in colour) to the renowned customizing and armouring experts at Hess and Eisenhardt of Blue Ash, Ohio. Dramatic changes were made to each car - for example, the roofline was changed, and options were added. Lincoln lost money on every car.
This car has the rare options of an FM radio, speed control and an auto-dimming headlight control. The Mark V was the largest car made by Ford after the Second World War. There are approximately five Formal Sedans left. This is the only one in Canada.
