Goggomobil was the brand attached to a series of microcars produced by Hans Glas GmbH in the Bavarian town of Dingolfing starting in 1955. BMW purchased the company in 1966 and phased out both the Goggomobil and Glas marques by 1969.
This rare 1962 TS-300 Coupe is powered by a 300-cc 14.8 horsepower two-stroke motor that will push the car to 59 mph. The car is just 9 feet, 6 inches long, and weighs in at 915 pounds. It is believed there are fewer than 100 Goggomobils in North America, with fewer still in running condition. Though probably brighter in colour than it was originally painted, it is important it wears such an attention-grabbing colour, since, if you are going to drive something this small, people should see you coming.By Daniel Vaughan | Sep 2019
