2014 Shelby Mustang GT500 Convertible

The Ford Shelby GT500 Mustang was built to succeed the SVT Cobra and celebrate the 40th anniversary of Carroll Shelby's original GT500 Mustang. It arrived in 2007 with a new 500 horsepower engine, making it the most powerful production Mustang to date. The 2014 GT500 was powered by a supercharger dual overhead-cam 5.8-liter engine offering 662 horsepower and mated to a six-speed manual gearbox and harnessed by a full suite of SVT-tuned underpinnings.

The 2014 Ford Shelby GT500 Convertible had a MSRP of $69,545, and this example was completed in February 2013 and sold to the current caretaker by Packey Webb Ford of Downers Grove, Illinois. Standard features include a supercharged 5.8-liter V-8 engine and six-speed manual gearbox; plus lightweight aluminum hood with air extractor; Le Mans top and rocker stripes; 19-inch and 20-inch alloy wheels; quad-tipped rear exhaust outlets; HID projector headlamps; Brembo vented ABS disc brakes; electric power-assisted steering; SVT-tuned suspension; power locks, mirrors, and windows; carbon fiber driveshaft; and a universal garage-door opener. Options include Shelby manual leather Recaro seats, Shaker Pro audio, electronics package with navigation, Shelby cover, and low-gloss black stripes.

Currently, the car has just 200 miles on its odometer.
