The Porsche 968 was the successor to the 944 and remained in production from 1992 to 1995. They were the final evolution of the four-cylinder transaxle models, which had first been introduced in 1976 in the 924. They Porsche 968 was significantly different to the 944, which included an enlarged three-liter dual-overhead-cam four-cylinder engine offering 236 horsepower. It had VarioCam variable valve timing, optimized induction and exhaust systems, and updated engine management.
This particular 1995 Porsche 968 left the factory finished in Polar Silver Metallic over a gray leather interior. It was given a sunroof and Tiptronic automatic transmission, and supplied new to Bob Carlson. In 2006 it entered the care of the Brumos Collection, and currently has fewer than 15,000 miles on the odometer.
